New Viral Vectors - March 2024

What's new in Addgene's ready-to-use viral vectors repository? Quite a bit! In this post, we'll share the 21 additions we've made to our viral vectors repository this year (and it's only March!) 

In our repository, you'll find the latest iteration of GCaMP, GCaMP8, available in new serotypes, as well as seven vectors newly available in the AAV PHP.eB serotype. We've also added two viral vectors that can constitutively express JEDI-2P, deposited by the St-Pierre lab. Also of interest is the Tian lab's pAAV_hSynapsin_psychLight2 (AAV9), which contains a biosensor that detects both serotonin and serotonergic drugs. Check out these new vectors, and many more, in the table below.
