2021 Deck the Lab Winners!

Ahem, ahem, drum roll please! It's time to announce the winners of our 2021 Deck the Lab Contest!

Though 2021 had more than its fair share of challenges, the annual Deck the Lab Contest brought us smiles and joy. In fact, our Addgenies were absolutely abuzz with anticipation as they cast their ballots for their favorite submission. So without any further ado, we present to you: our first, second, and third place winners! 

1st Place: Krampus Saves Christmas!

created by the Moore lab at the Van Andel Institute. Krampus was created by Nate Levine. 

 

 

Honorable Mention: Culture Warrior

The Moore lab, who was full of holiday creativity, also receives an honorable mention for their second submission. 

 

 

2nd Place: The Winter and the Falcon Tube

created by the team efforts of the Yit Heng Chooi Lab at the University of Western Australia. 

 

 

3rd Place: O! Beaker Tree

Created by Joanne Jary from Lab Support at the John Innes Centre, and submitted by the Lab Support Team at the Centre.  

 

 

Congratulations to all our winners, and a huge thank you to everyone who decked their lab and brought us some holiday cheer!
